This year for the 4th of July we decided to stay home and enjoy the fireworks show from our front deck. The view was amazing !
Every year the city does a fireworks show, which happens to be directly across the lake from our house. So we can sit on our front deck and watch the show.

The kids thought it was great because we let them stay up way way past their bedtime.
While we watched the fireworks we roasted marshmellows and made smores.
What a night!
