So I know all boys want to be just like their Dads but I never thought mine would end up being just like him. When Mike was little his parents bought him a computer, after playing everything on it over and over again he took it apart.Ethan has acquired his Father's obsession with taking apart everything electronic and I mean everything. I am trying to think of everything he has taken apart. There have been computers, keyboards, cameras, telephones, cell phones, toys, VCRs, stereos, I am sure I am missing something.
Anyways, Mike found two old computers the other day in his office and gave them to the boys. They were so excited, they spent hours taking them apart and cutting wires. I have buckets with screws and wires everywhere. Even though it makes a big mess and I am vacuuming up screws for weeks it is still a wonderful opportunity for them. Most kids don't get the opportunity to see the inside of a computer much less take one apart and learn how it all works. I just can't wait until they figure out how to put a computer back together.=)

It is funny to see how much boys can be like their dads. Luke has been the same, always taking things apart and working hard to put them back together so that they work. I'm so glad that he's figuring out the putting back of the computers. The scary thing to me is where is he learning this stuff????
Your boys are great and I'm glad that I've had the privilege of teaching 2 and 1 more to go. =)
